Genemoji is an innovative feature developed by Apple, leveraging its advanced AI capabilities. It allows users to create custom emojis based on photos of friends and family, which can be used as stickers or reactions in chats. This feature adds a personal touch to your messaging experience, enabling you to express yourself with unique and customized emojis.
Note: Genemoji is available exclusively for iOS 18.2 and later versions, starting with iPhone 16 and newer models.
How to Create a Genemoji
- Open a text field in any app where you can type.
- Switch to the emoji keyboard by tapping the emoji icon.
- Tap the Genemoji icon at the top right of the onscreen keyboard.
- In the “Describe a Genmoji” field, enter a description (for example, “Rainbow cactus”).
- Tap “Done” to save your creation.
- To add a Genemoji to your message, simply swipe through the available GenEmoji, select the one you want, and tap “Add.”
How to Delete a Genemoji
- Open a text field and switch to the emoji keyboard.
- Swipe right or tap the Genemoji icon.
- Find the Genmoji you want to delete, then press and hold it. Tap “Remove” to delete it.
- Alternatively, you can tap the Stickers icon in a Messages conversation, press and hold the Genmoji, and then select “Remove.”
